Overview



OVERVIEW
Google has had three major algorithm changes within the last 18 months, along with 20+ tweaks.  This has had a major impact on search engine optimization strategies.  Google evaluates websites on four parameters:   on-page, technical, links and content.  My audit is based on those parameters.  I concentrate on Google, because it has close to 85% of the search market; Bing and Yahoo do seem to follow Google’s lead.
Since search results are always based on the keywords or key phrases typed into the search box, it is important that your site contains the correct keywords.  The latest algorithm change seems to punish keyword “stuffing” so it is important not to overdo specific keywords.
